Damage and Fracture of Composite Structures: Analyses and Monitoring

Mission and Purpose:
This symposium is the second one following the first successful meeting that was held in Tarbes, France, in July, 2015. The objective of this symposium is to exchange state-of-the-art research results and to promote collaborations between researchers in academia and the industry in the field of assessment and monitoring of damage and fracture of multifunctional composite structures. The originality of this meeting will be to take advantage of the informal workshop environment to facilitate open and focused presentations, discussions and exchanges for the benefit of all attendees. This symposium provides a forum for high-level Chinese and French researchers and engineers to present their latest developments and exchange ideas on the subject. It also gives an opportunity to establish and foster collaboration between different participants.
All abstracts and presentations must be in English. Registration will begin in the afternoon of August 15, 2017. The symposium will consist of a Speaker Program in three days (August 16-18). The Speaker Program contains presentations and panel discussions. All presentations are by invitation and are delivered in a plenary session. Each speaker has 30 minutes to present her or his work. At the end of each session, a panel discussion is organized. Lunches and dinners will be provided.

August 16-18, 2017: Symposium

- Words (Page) limit: The total length of the abstract must not exceed one A4 page including Figures, Tables and References. The abstract should be prepared in the electronic form as the template.
